Dear Parents and Caregivers,
We have just started Term 2 and
you all received your children's
reports last week. You
will have noticed that in some
subject areas we are reporting
in the British Levels as well as
providing a percentage grade to
be blended with their Thai
percentages. Many of you
will recall that our last set of
parent meetings in the middle of
Term 1 focused on discussing
Levels. In January parent
meetings will once again focus
on this to help you better
understand how your child is
being evaluated.
If you have any questions
concerning Levels and how
percentages are derived please
speak to your child's teacher,
the Deputy Head or myself. You
will also find a link on this
page to documents that can
answer many of your questions.
For next year I will produce a
booklet that will help guide you
through the Levels and
percentages so that, we are
currently working on initiatives
that will allow us to better
develop your child's reading and
produce accurate British Levels
for reporting as well.
