Coping with Change M1 Camp
2008-09 During Term
1, 2008, M1 went on
their "Coping with Change" camp,
which was part of their "Coping
with Change" year long theme
work.

Friday 19th December saw the
annual student Sports Day.
Students worked hard to produce
their costumes and decorations.
You can view the pictures in
three categories, the welcome
parade, the cheerleading contest
and the sports events. Don't

M1-M4 during 1-2 homerooms per
week for November and December
put together Religion posters
describing different religions
of the world. On Monday 15th and
Wednesday 17th December the
homeroom classes presented their
posters

A Key Stage 3 Assembly
for M1 and M2 students was held
on Friday 12th of December 2008.
Commendation Certificates were given out and
we practiced singing the carols
we are going to sing at our
Christmas assembly on Thursday
18th December.
The school is happy to state
that in the high school we now
have a curriculum support
department, in addition to
computerized English as a second
language support (Fast ForWord),
. Ms. Steffi Heider, of many
years experience teaching ESL,
will be responsible. Thus,
students weak in English will be
having one-to-one or small group
teaching of the curriculum in
different departments, together
with the computerized Fast
ForWord.
At the end of Term 1, 2008, the
high school (including M1 and
M2) presented their work to date
on their themes.
